Had a bridal party at this gorgeous hidden Gem. Clare and her staff are so professional and warm and welcoming. Really high quality care, skin care insights, knowledge, massages and attention to detail. I felt so pampered and nurtured. Always a great day when I’ve been to Kai urban retreat. I think it puts Ashburton on the map for high quality beauty services. Not to mention the ethical, low tox products they use. As someone doing IVF and caring about my endocrine system I really appreciate the products they use here. I’ll continue to use Kai urban for other events and tender loving care when I need it.

A hidden gem! You would have no idea that the most beautiful day spa exists in the back streets of Ashburton! From start to finish, the service is incredible. I booked in for the “restore package” which included a foot spa/massage, massage and facial. They were very accommodating of me at 34 weeks pregnant with lots of pillows for support and propped the bed when needed. I walked out feeling super relaxed. I’d highly recommend!

Had a beautiful relaxation massage here yesterday. The whole experience was honestly so lovely — calm space, warm welcome, and a really professional therapist. I walked out feeling lighter, looser and completely relaxed. The herbal tea and little snacks afterwards were such a thoughtful touch, and the personalised thank-you card made my day. It’s rare to find a place that feels this genuine and caring. Highly recommend this local gem in Ashburton. I’ll definitely be back!

Easy online booking process and street parking. Walking into Kai, really feels like walking into another world. Brought into a lounge area from reception with gorgeous smelling diffuser and offered tea or water and changed into slippers. Treatment by Helen was very refreshing, if you haven’t, give the refresh package a go. Left feeling relaxed, and amazing and skin felt replenished. Lovely end to treatment with snacks. I came here for a bridal party yesterday. We all had 1 hour massage followed by nibblies qnd drinks. Than we had DIY facials and natalie spoke to us about all the products. Overall it was a wonderful experience. Clare made the experience really special. The massage was amazing, best ive had in a long time. The location is so clean and smells amazing! Would definitely be back to do it all again
